Clean, Healthy and Comfortable Heat

Normal sauna stones have impurities which are emitted into the sauna steam under the influence of the glowing resistor. The stone will get lighter in weight and it will disintegrate, losing its heat conductivity. Sand will fall to the bottom of the stove and onto the floor which will stop up the drains. Heating up the sauna will take longer and the stones will need to be replaced! This is why more and more saunas for business entertainment as well as public use are nowadays equipped with Kerkes Sauna Stones. This carefully manufactured ceramic product guarantees unique sauna steam. The pure, special ceramic pulp, forged at a temperature over 1,300°C, is heat shock resistant and it won’t disintegrate or release any hazardous gasses into the sauna air. You will be able to enjoy clean and peacefully comfortable sauna steam. The stones have been designed to withstand frequent public use. After setting the sauna stove properly with our stones, it will be virtually maintenance free.

Tetra Shaped Stones

Our tetra shaped stones come in two sizes – large and small. They are used to be the topmost layer in all sauna stoves. The fire or air flow in the stove is regulated by the thickness of the surface stone layer. The surface structure of the tetra shaped stone guarantees intense heat.

Ball Shaped Stones

Our ball shaped stones are used in wood heated sauna stoves and in those which have a deep cavity for stones. These stones will improve the circulation of air in the stove. There is minimal contact with the red glowing metal/resistor, and therefore, the heat flows better in the stove. Our ball shaped stones come in a diameter of approximately 50 mm, 60 mm, 80 mm and 95 mm.

Interspace Resistor Stones

Our interspace stones are used in electric sauna stoves between the resistors as their support. The shape of these stones prevents overcrowding. The thickness of the interspace resistor stone depends on the gap of the resistor. Our interspace stones come in a diameter of approximately 25 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm and 50 mm.
